Continue ShoppingShe is not looking at you. She is listening for something — or perhaps she has already heard it, which is not the same thing at all.
The peach hangs above her from a branch in the way certain facts hang at the edge of a conversation: present, obvious, completely unexplained. Prunus persica — catalogued and enormous, botanical-illustration register, hovering in the same frame as her lace and the fireflies and the dusk-blue Georgia sky. She does not acknowledge it. She has not acknowledged it for as long as she has been in the orchard, which is longer than anyone can account for.
Wren is the anchor print of the Porch + Peach collection — the piece the room is built around. Fine art collage and layered illustration in dusty teal, peach blush, and pine green, the particular amber of a Georgia afternoon that ended slowly and did not apologize for it. The print for people who recognize her without being told who she is.
