One tall stem, four dark teal leaves, a white bloom opening against the orange circle — and amber ink dripping from the base, as if the fog came in before the work was done. Cleo kept this one pinned above her desk, which is where the thing you've decided is most important goes. Bold and graphic at statement size; precise and rewarding up close.
The Botanist's Circle is an argument, made quietly, in the language of botanical illustration: that what grows on these particular cliffs, in this particular fog, on this particular stretch of coast, is worth this kind of attention. For any room where you agree.
