June Ellery Wilde does not explain herself.
She does not need to — the plains already do the speaking, that wide-open sky doing something specific and enormous and entirely unconcerned with whether anyone is watching. She followed a butterfly once for three fields and ended up at a house she'd never seen. She knocked. Nobody answered. She went home. She has not stopped thinking about it.
Wheat + Wind is Paperfinch's Nebraska collection: spacious and unhurried and warm right down to the earth, prairie horizons at golden hour, the state meadowlark on a branch watching something off-frame that it has not decided to explain, wildflowers in old glass bottles that arrived without documentation. Each piece carries the visual language of June's world — the wheat gold of a flat-state afternoon, the open sky blue that belongs only above the plains, the particular aged-parchment warmth of a print that was found rather than made.
Art prints, coasters, tea towels, mugs, stickers, cards, and pillows — the full Nebraska world, on every surface that deserves it.
The sky out here does most of the talking.
